Ever see a person struggle to sell newspapers? They may be selling on the wrong street, saying the wrong things, and attracting the wrong people. This person may actually be trying to sell these newspapers but in reality they fail. They fail because they may be dressed wrong, be located in a poor areas, or the demand is not enough to support the salesman. There could be any number of reasons, one that needs to be looked at the most is motive. Is the man doing this because he loves selling newspapers or is it simply extra money with no special fulfilment.
Those who look at just making money normally do not see the whole picture that is seen by the passionate ones. Those who invest there time and spirit, normally emotion too, tend to understand what they need to do to succeed. Place yourself in positions that you desire to be in. Do not try to kid yourself, your body and mind know the difference. Be honest and reap the rewards of true selling. This type of selling involves focusing on peoples needs and wants and fulfilling them. You put the other person ahead of your own needs and the results normally will be rewards greater then expected. Enjoy your skills, likes, and talents. Enjoy your interest because this is what you have to offer making you different and special to those around us.
